Affiliate Program Terms & Conditions
Agreement & Content Guidelines

Thank you for joining the Royal Drawing School Affiliate Programme.
Our affiliate programme is by invitation only and is designed for a small group of artists, educators, alumni and partner organisations who genuinely value drawing and want to share our courses with their audiences.
By accepting our invitation and participating in the programme, you agree to the terms below.

1.  Joining the Programme

Participation is by invitation only and is subject to approval by the Royal Drawing School.
Once your place is confirmed, we will provide:
  • your unique affiliate link and/or discount code (will be valid for 365 days)
  • campaign information
  • approved images, logos and promotional materials
  • any specific campaign briefs or guidance.

We reserve the right to withdraw participation at any time if these terms are not followed or if your content or conduct could reasonably damage the reputation of the Royal Drawing School.

2. Promoting the Royal Drawing School

We encourage you to promote the Royal Drawing School in a way that feels genuine and reflects your  own creative practice.
When sharing content, please:
  • represent the Royal Drawing School honestly and accurately
  • give your genuine opinions and experiences
  • comply with advertising standards by clearly identifying affiliate content where required (for
example by using #Ad or #Affiliate where appropriate)
  • use only the logos, images and promotional materials we provide unless we've agreed otherwise.
You must not:
  • claim to represent the Royal Drawing School or speak on our behalf
  • make misleading claims about our courses or outcomes
  • send unsolicited marketing or spam
  • use the Royal Drawing School name or logo in paid advertising without our written permission
  • publish content that is unlawful, offensive, discriminatory or likely to damage our reputation.

3. Content Guidelines

We're interested in seeing how the course supports your own drawing practice.
We encourage content that shows:
  • your drawings and sketchbooks
  • works in progress
  • your studio or workspace
  • your process
  • how you incorporate the course into your creative and your daily routine
  • your reflections on what you've learned
To protect our teaching materials, please do not:
  • record or share videos from within the course
  • screen-record lessons or demonstrations
  • photograph or share downloadable course materials
  • publish teaching notes, exercises or lesson content
  • share any material that would allow someone to access the course without enrolling.
You may include brief glimpses of the course interface or your laptop while you're working, provided that lesson content is not clearly visible or readable.
If you're unsure whether something is appropriate to share, please ask us before publishing.
If we ask you to edit or remove content that inadvertently reveals course material or misrepresents the Royal Drawing School, we ask that you do so promptly.

4. Commission

Affiliates receive commission on eligible course purchases made through their unique affiliate link or discount code. The applicable commission rate is the individual rate assigned to each affiliate by the School and communicated to them separately.
Commission is payable:
  • once payment has been received in full
  • after the course refund period has expired
  • monthly, provided any minimum payment threshold has been met.
If a purchase is refunded, the related commission will not be payable or may be deducted from a future payment.
Sales must be successfully tracked through your affiliate link or discount code. Unfortunately, we cannot pay commission where purchases cannot be attributed to your referral.

5. Using Our Brand

The Royal Drawing School retains all intellectual property rights in its name, logo, photographs, videos, course content and teaching materials.
You may use the promotional materials we provide solely for the purposes of this affiliate programme. Please do not alter our logos or branding without permission.

6. Your Responsibilities

As an affiliate, you agree to:
  • provide accurate contact and payment information
  • keep your affiliate account details up to date
  • comply with all applicable laws and advertising regulations
  • act professionally and in good faith when promoting the Royal Drawing School.

7.  Ending the Agreement

Either you or the Royal Drawing School may end this agreement at any time by giving written notice.
We may suspend or terminate participation immediately if you:
  • breach these terms
  • misuse our brand or course materials
  • publish misleading or inappropriate content
  • engage in fraudulent activity
  • act in a way that could reasonably damage the reputation of the Royal Drawing School.
If your participation ends, you agree to remove affiliate links and stop promoting the programme.
Any commission earned before termination will still be paid, unless the agreement ended because of fraud or a serious breach of these terms.

8. Liability

While we hope the programme is rewarding, we cannot guarantee any level of sales or income.
Our total liability under this agreement will be limited to any commission owed to you.
Nothing in these terms limits liability where it cannot legally be limited.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may occasionally update these terms to reflect changes to the programme or legal requirements.
Where changes are significant, we'll let you know before they take effect.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Thank you. We're delighted you've joined this small community of Royal Drawing School affiliates.

Your work helps introduce more people to the value of observational drawing, and we look forward to seeing how you share your creative journey with your audience.
